Tartine
Organic bakery in Doussard. Sourdough breads and homemade pastries, baked in a wood-fired oven since 1983.

Your turn to score.
Before going into the oven, every loaf gets its score, the blade cut that lets it open up as it bakes. Have a go yourself.
- Draw one or more lines on the dough with your finger or mouse.
- Put it in the oven.
- Watch the loaf rise, turn golden and open up where you scored it.
Only sourdough.
All our breads are made with natural sourdough, shaped by hand, with a slow fermentation that gives them their slightly tangy taste.

Taking our time.
How it beganÉtienne and Xavier, pioneers and committed champions of organic farming, set out to create an organic bakery, still very rare at the time, and to build the oven themselves.
The same miller from day oneWe have worked with the same organic miller since we opened: the small Pichard mill in Haute-Provence.
A 40-year-old starterOur 40-year-old starter raises our breads and gives them their unique taste.
A circular economyThe oven is fired with offcuts from a sawmill in Savoie.
